Click below to watch the video of the delivery of Kinzley!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_LdOKPHVB4

Just found out this morning that one of the viewers from marestare.com captured a recording of the miracle of Kinzley's birth.  Here is the link many of you have been asking for.....yeah!!  Kinzley is doing wonderful and I am enjoying every minute I get to spend with her.  What a beautiful little girl she is with a ton of personality.  Hoping that the rain will stay away just a bit longer so I can take Nemo and Kinzley out for another outing into the "real world".  Hope everyone is enjoying watching her on camera.  She makes me laugh.....running around in her stall bucking and kicking while Nemo just stands there.....too funny!

Thank you SO very much to Colleen for creating this beautiful video of Kinley's first time out of the stall.  She had a ton of fun playing in the pasture.  Love her to pieces!!  Hope you enjoy!  :)

Meet Kinzley...our precious little angel!

Welcome to the world little one!

At 2:58 this morning we were awoken by wonderful friends and strangers that have been watching over Nemo on "marestare", anxiously awaiting the arrival of this special little foal.  We were blessed with a happy, healthy little filly named Kinzley on this very special day.  She is the most gorgeous foal I have ever layed eyes upon and I feel so very fortunate to have the blessing of being involved in the life of this special miracle.  She is one of the last foals to be born to carry on the bloodlines of her amazing and spectacular sire Nanning 374.  A magnificent stallion with such presence.  The friesian breed has been so fortunate to have such wonderful advocates like Scott and Shelley Kelnhofer and we lost an exemplary example of the breed the day he passed.  He may be gone, but will never be forgotten in the hearts of so many!  Thank you to all who have helped make this miracle happen.   You are all so very special and I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends in my life!

Check out the live feed from the foal cam!

After many obstacles, the live foal camera is finally up! Nemo is defintely getting close to the big day! Her udder is full of milk and she is starting to show signs that labor is getting closer. Alyssa gave her a much needed bath and wrapped her tail (in hot pink, of course). The straw is down, foaling kit prepared and oxytocin is on hand just in case. Alyssa picked out an adorable pink halter and lead at the Midwest Horse Fair.....now all we need is for the little filly to arrive! We've decided on the name Kinzley and I think she is going to be one spoiled foal. I've been keeping in touch with Dr. Andy Schmidt and his tech Becky from Wisconsin Equine-I think they're almost as excited as we are. Everyone is anxiously awaiting the delivery of this special little foal. They have been so helpful and accommodating to me patiently addressing all of my concerns and questions. My parents have done an awesome job preparing the stall, setting up the camera and working out all of the last minute details. Thank you to Colleen Longseth for taking Stormi for the summer so Nemo could have her birthing "suite". Hope you enjoy the foaling cam as much as I am! Check it out at http://www.marestare.com/fcam.php?alias=hilltopdream. Or if you have any problems connecting just go to www.marestare.com, public cams and click on Hilltop Dream Friesians. Praying for a healthy, happy little foal!
