Kinzley and Friends
Thank you to everyone that came out this weekend to meet Kinzley. She is absolutely LOVING all of the attention! She can't wait to get out of the stall and show off her moves. Nemo has been such a good mom.....so quiet with all of the kids running around in the stall playing with Kinzley. Couldn't ask anymore of her....what a sweetheart! She just quietly grazes on grass while the little one runs and bucks in the yard. She sure does love to play. Kinzley seems to love all of the children (maybe even more than adults). They're a perfect size to play with! She very well may be one of the most socialized seven day old foals in history. Thank you again to everyone who has came out to meet her....I have enjoyed spending time with all of you (and showing off the little one!).

Beautiful pictures taken by Peggy Spear
Check out more rest of her work at http://www.falconpointphot.com/
We also received great news from Dr. Schmidt today. The histopath report came back that there were no abnormalities of the placenta (which we were concerned about due to some discoloration of the placenta). The culture obtained from fluid from within the placenta also came back with no bacteria.....more great news!! Kinzley is doing wonderful and continues to be full of energy-absolutely LOVES her time she gets to spend outside. We woked on imprinting with the clippers and practiced leading her with a halter today. What a good little girl she was! I can't believe how quickly she is growing....I was looking back at some of the photos from just a few days ago and you can see a huge difference. I know I am bias, but I think she is going to develop into an absolutely stunning horse.

Kinzley's photoshoot
Kinzley was definitely full of spit and fire this morning! We took her out into the pasture for some time out of her stall to give my good friend Peggy Spear a chance to photograph her in action-little did we know that on her second adventure out she would attempt to break out of the fence. What beautiful shots she got.....fantastic photographer! Peggy loves horses and thoroughly enjoys shooting these amazing animals (especially the little ones) Check out her website at http://www.falconpointphoto.com/. Kinzley sure is getting to be independent. Loved seeing her trotting through the field next to her mom-what a beautiful trot at only five days old! Looks like she is already taking after her daddy.....what a spunky little girl! Not the laid back easy-going personality like her mom. She is going to be a ton of fun! This is a sneak peek of a couple of the shots Peggy got....love em!! I can hardly wait to see the rest of the pics. We also got some great new from the vet today. Dr. Andy Shchmidt from Wisconsin Equine came out to meet Kinzley in person and assured us that her legs are looking better every day and was in love with her personality. He also rechecked some bloodwork and everything is looking great. What a relief! He is a phenomenal doctor-I couldn't ask for a better vet to be working with! He has truly gone out of his way for this little one-so reassuring and available anytime I need him. A very special thank you to Dr. Schmidt and Wisconsin Equine for everything they have done for us!

Just found out this morning that one of the viewers from marestare.com captured a recording of the miracle of Kinzley's birth. Here is the link many of you have been asking for.....yeah!! Kinzley is doing wonderful and I am enjoying every minute I get to spend with her. What a beautiful little girl she is with a ton of personality. Hoping that the rain will stay away just a bit longer so I can take Nemo and Kinzley out for another outing into the "real world". Hope everyone is enjoying watching her on camera. She makes me laugh.....running around in her stall bucking and kicking while Nemo just stands there.....too funny!
